PDP-8/E Rebuild – Part 1 – Strip Down
A new arrival in my collection was a fairly clean PDP-8/E chassis. The box came with no cards but I have sufficient spares to populate. First step in rebuilding it is to strip it down and remove all the foam gunk before moving onto reviving the power supply. Join DiscussionApple IIe rebuild
I have within my collection, 3 Apple IIe’s (and numerous peripherals) that I inherited from a friend many years ago. Of the 3 only one is currently in vaguely operational condition and so I decided to take this machine, give it a thorough clean and bring it back to its former glory.

Tandy 100 Repair
After nearly a year of sitting on a dusty shelf, this Tandy 100 limps back to life. The Tandy 100 is one of the earliest notebook computers and was a popular machine in its day, particularly amongst journalists. Unfortunately I could not persuade the build label to come off of the chassis cleanly so this had to be sacraficed. Before I removed it I carefully… »
PDP-8/M Rebuild – part 1 – Initial Inspection
I’ve finally decided to bite the bullet and start the rebuilt of one of my OMNIBUS PDP-8s. I decided to start with the more challenging of the two using the theory that by tackling the worst I would be much better prepared for a simple rebuild of better condition machine.
An appraisel of the machine
